Just a little background. He and I have been friends for 5 years. I was a little 19 year old and he was fresh off the mish. We were in the same ward and instantly bonded over Dicks (best burger chain..in Seattle), the Beatles, Big Gulps (which I thought I didn't develop a deep love for until law school, but he set me straight), late night Taco Bell runs, and a great love for the NCAA basketball tournament that we went to watch the first and second rounds up at the U. We got be closer friends for the next three years with him introducing me to Minus the Bear, going to see the Strokes, buying a megaphone and harassing people in Provo, and skipping school to track out fresh powder at Snowbird. (He's a snowboarder but I can forgive him, he can still repent).
We've stayed in touch via this great thing called gchat since I moved to Boston. I also saw him every time I visited my sister in Salt Lake. After all these years of keeping in touch and promising I'd visit him in Seattle, I finally booked a ticket to Seattle for Presidents Weekend. Well...it took us 5 years, but we're officially together and I couldn't be happier.
